Scope of Practice: Licensed Practitioner — Life Transitions FocusThis private practice is licensed and intentionally framed around life transitions, not pathology.
How This Work Is FramedAlthough the practitioner is licensed, equine-guided sessions are offered as coaching-style, experiential support for life transitions, personal growth, and integration. The presence of a license does not automatically make this psychotherapy.
The focus is on:
  • Present-moment awareness
  • Meaning-making and insight
  • Identity shifts during transitions
  • Choice, agency, and forward movement
Equine-Guided Life Transition Coaching Includes:
  • Divorce, separation, or relationship changes
  • Career shifts, leadership changes, or retirement
  • Menopause, aging, and identity evolution
  • Empty nest, caregiving transitions
  • Burnout recovery and life reorientation
  • Reclaiming confidence and direction after change
This Work Does Not Include (Unless Explicitly Contracted as Therapy):
  • Diagnosis or treatment of mental health disorders
  • Trauma processing or exposure-based work
  • EMDR, somatic trauma resolution, or memory reconsolidation
  • Crisis intervention or emergency mental health care
Dual-Role Clarity (Important)
  • Each client is contracted either as a coaching client or a therapy client
  • Equine-guided sessions are provided under a coaching/life-transition agreement, not a psychotherapy treatment plan
  • If therapy is indicated, it is clearly discussed, documented, and consented separately
Referrals & Clinical Responsibility
  • Clients currently in therapy may participate with informed consent
  • Referral to therapy occurs if clinical symptoms exceed coaching scope
  • Clinical judgment and ethical guidelines govern transitions between roles

Suggested Disclaimer Language (Client-Facing)Equine-guided coaching is a professional coaching service focused on self-awareness, growth, and skill development. It is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or a substitute for medical or psychological care. Participation is voluntary, and clients remain responsible for their own wellbeing and choices.

Ethical Commitment
  • Trauma-informed, consent-based practice
  • Respect for client autonomy and dignity
  • Horse welfare as a non-negotiable priority
  • Ongoing professional development and supervision

This framework is designed to support a sustainable, ethical, and clearly defined private coaching practice.

When life shifts, clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder — it comes from listening deeper.
Private, one-on-one equine-guided coaching for women navigating change, identity shifts, and new chapters. This work is experiential, embodied, and guided by the honest presence of horses.

About the WorkLife transitions ask us to let go of who we were and listen for who we are becoming. Whether the change was chosen or unexpected, these moments can feel disorienting, tender, and powerful all at once.
Equine-guided coaching offers a grounded, nonverbal way to meet transition. Horses respond to what is real, not what is rehearsed. In their presence, patterns become visible, inner authority strengthens, and next steps emerge naturally.
This is not talk-based problem solving. It is a lived experience of awareness, choice, and forward movement.

Who This Is ForThis work is for women who are:
  • Moving through divorce, separation, or relationship change
  • At a career crossroads or leadership transition
  • Navigating menopause, aging, or identity shifts
  • Recovering from burnout or prolonged over-giving
  • Entering an empty-nest or caregiving phase
  • Feeling called toward something new, but unsure what it is yet
No horse experience is necessary. All work is done on the ground in a calm, supportive environment.

What to ExpectEach private session is shaped around you and the transition you are navigating.
Sessions typically include:
  • Intentional arrival and grounding
  • Guided interaction with one or more horses
  • Gentle inquiry and reflection
  • Integration into daily life and decision-making
The horses act as partners in the process — offering feedback that is immediate, honest, and free of judgment.

Why HorsesHorses are exquisitely attuned to clarity, boundaries, and congruence. They respond to presence rather than performance.
In times of transition, this allows you to:
  • Recognize habitual patterns without self-criticism
  • Practice clear communication and boundaries
  • Reconnect with intuition and embodied confidence
  • Experience leadership and agency in real time
What emerges is insight you can feel, not just understand.

The Role of the PractitionerThis work is facilitated by a licensed professional with extensive experience supporting women through change. Sessions are intentionally framed as life-transition coaching, not clinical treatment.
The focus is on awareness, integration, and forward movement — honoring your autonomy, wisdom, and capacity for choice.

How We Work Together
  • Private 1:1 sessions (90–120 minutes)
  • Standalone sessions or multi-session journeys
  • By appointment only
This is a confidential, consent-based space designed for depth, clarity, and transformation.

An InvitationYou don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
If you are standing at the edge of change — listening, questioning, or reorienting — this work offers a steady place to land and move forward with intention.
Begin your next chapter with clarity, presence, and support.
