Maddy ScuderiEAT of NJ Board Member
OTR/L, M.S. PATH International certified ESMHL (Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning), PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor I started as an intern at EAT of NJ under Jeanne while I was pursuing my undergraduate degree and decided to never leave. I have been a practicing occupational therapist and equine specialist for over 5 years. I have worked in variety of settings as an OT, including schools, outpatient clinics, early intervention and horse barns (my favorite!). I also have a strong interest in manual therapy for humans and horses and have completed several body working courses, including: Upledger Craniosacral Level 1, Barnes Myofascial Release Level 1, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Sometimes, nonverbal communication speaks the loudest. I believe everyone has a unique superpower, and I find joy in helping others recognize their light. My approach is rooted in the principles of trauma-informed care, where I explore the intersections of trauma, sensory processing, and somatic regulation through movement. Above all, I believe that you are your own best healer—everything you need for healing is already inside of you. I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent teens and young adults with sensory processing challenges, somatic regulation, and emotional regulation. When I’m not at the farm, I am training Muay Thai (my personal form of somatic regulation!), lifting, or making art. If you think I would be a good fit for your or your child, contact me at (856) 472-2858 or email me at [email protected] |
