Stephanie SavoiaEAT of NJ Board President
MSW, MClinEd, LCSW, Certified School Social Worker, EAGALA certified Mental Health Specialist with Military Designation, PATH International certified ESMHL (Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning), Natural Lifemanship Level II trained Once I learned about the power of healing in the presence of horses, there was no turning back for me. As a psychotherapist, I work almost exclusively with members of the herd in sessions. As you develop a relationship with the horses, your own relationships (with yourself and with others in your life) begin the healing process as healing happens in relationships. Many of my clients are veterans and civilians who have experienced trauma, both growing up and/or from a specific event. I work under the premise that “it’s not my fault, but it is my problem to solve” when it comes to how trauma affects a person’s life. When I’m not at the farm enjoying the company of the horses, I am doting on my 2 semi-adult children and loving husband. I may be watching stand-up comedy, working in my garden, playing with my dogs or cast as my husband’s fishing partner. Born and raised in South Philly, I am also likely to be watching an Eagles, Phillies or Flyers game, depending on the season! Contact me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if you think I may be a good fit for your mental health needs. My number is 856-955-1225 and my email address is [email protected]. |
