What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves becoming aware of this moment and then the next. It is allowing your thoughts to come and go freely with compassion.

How do you practice with horses?
We use horses to help facilitate and help you get grounded with yourself. Horses live in the moment and their feedback will give you the ability to see yourself more clearly.

Benefits of mindful meditation with horses
  • Reduced stress
  • increase productivity and creativity,
  • ability to process emotions more effectively
  • increase emotional stability
  • Improve concentration

Additional Notes:
  • No horse experience is necessary.
  • All activity will occur in the presence of horses. (No riding).
  • All that is needed is a pair of sturdy, comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
  • Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided
